Day two...
Here is how today happened:
Not one peep from him on his first night at our house. He waited patiently for us to rise and shine. Remarkable!
No plush toys for Mr. Shredder Upper! Needs rawhide...rawhideS!
Not totally sure where the airplane noise is coming from when we take our daily walks to the dog park.
When he is looking for attention he gives this stare down that is irresistible! He watched me write and type for a bit. Then he placed his head on my lap and looked up at me with eyes that say....ahh words can not explain the sweetness given by Scotch....the dog!
Our big adventure today was a trip to the Vet. Although the appointment did not happen today, rescheduled for tomorrow, we learned a new characteristic about Scotch. He adores children! As he entered the Vet with extreme curiosity and no sign of fears, he became aware of two kids; ages in the range of 8 to 12. All of a sudden, he started for a mad dash towards them not realizing he was on tile flooring while on a leash. He began to run in one place! So funny! The kids approached him cautiously only to find him patiently sitting and waiting for their affection. It was a beautiful moment!
We went to a movie this evening and Scotch was placed in his crate. Indeed he is a wonderful dog, no accidents!
Scotch is hesitant to go in our backyard alone when natures call him. He attempts to walk away from the door then he hears a foreign noise and dashes back while whining to get back in. After two fearful yet courageous attempts on his part I joined him. We walked to the designated area and he checked out the premises then answered his call. With each outing we tread more ground with such bravery from Scotch!
On a funny note, when I put Scotch outside he wants in and when I go out to the mailbox he wants out! Be still my beating heart....
